Hidden in plain sight
The Truth is actually extremely plain and clear
Yet most do not see or understand
This was prophesied; Jesus emphasized it; the apostles themselves experienced it; the crowds demonstrated it, we still experience that in our natural thinking, our natural or so called “logical” rational minds or selves, our “nous”
We can all agree in our natural understanding how a literal application of certain things like certain instructions in Matthew 5 or John 6 could warp any one of any age. It left even the closest to Jesus befuddled until after the resurrection, and at the time of John 6 ALL the crowds deserted him.
Nevertheless, the clear and plain Truth is still plainly and clearly understood only when one actually receives the Kingdom of God like a young child.

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child (paidion) will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
