In that day you will say: “I will praise YOU, YAHWEH.
In that day…
What day?
Have you seen that day?
Is that day past, present, future?
Is today that day?
Is it tomorrow?
Post below something you can share from your experience or any questions or insights you have about THAT DAY.
Here is the rest of Isaiah 12 below. Read each portion carefully, and pick one or more to reflect on and share more about what Yahweh is speaking to you here today from HIS WORD.
Although YOU were angry with me, YOUR anger has turned away and YOU have comforted me.
Surely EL IS MY YESHUA.
I will trust and not be afraid for YAH YAHWEH is my strength and song, and HE has become MY YESHUA.
With joy you will draw water from the wells of YESHUA.
In that day you will say: “Give praise to YAHWEH, proclaim HIS name!”
Make known among the nations what HE has done!
I think it helps to go back to at least chapter 11, where “that day” is also referenced.
Notice the parallel in 11:6-11 to the garden of Eden.
and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so.
Genesis 1:30
We don’t see animals killing animals for food in the garden.
Also the cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together, And the lion will eat straw like the ox.
Isaiah 11:7
These verses in chapter 11 also appear to be before the new heaven and earth of Revelation 21, as the new earth is said to not have a sea, while verses 11 and 15 in Isaiah 11 both reference a sea.
Other signs like the plundering and enslavement in verse 14 would also appear to be before the very end.

Rollin,
As always, thank you for engaging together here in the WORD. I continue to desire and encourage others to do the same. Perhaps it is simply an incessant hunger in me. Thank you for engaging. We share a hunger and as always also a particular aim for digging together rather than debating. So, continuing in that vein, it seems to me that the only passage in both chapters 11 and 12 that seems – following your clear explanation above – to be pointing to a yet future (dare we say, millennial) period, really ends up being only verses 6-9 in chapter 11, quoted for easy reference below.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling[a] together;
and a little child will lead them.
7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 The infant will play near the cobra’s den,
and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest.
9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.
Isn’t it correct that all the rest of chapters 11 and 12, particularly 12 clearly SHOUT out FULFILLED in the completed work of Messiah?
At least in this present moment, this seems to be my understanding of both these chapters, and I find it intriguing that with this sense in mind that the rest of chapters 11 and 12 have already found their COMPLETE FULFILLMENT in Messiah Yeshua, that it follows that verses 6-9 in chapter 11 can also easily follow as finding their completed fulfillment in Messiah even now.
Is this possible?
Are both completed fulfillment and future fulfillment both simultaneously fully possible?
Further,
If it was not angels he had in mind to help but the descendants of Abraham, then was it the natural creatures He has in mind in Isaiah 11:6-9
or are these things written concerning the true already completed fulfillment of these things in Messiah Yeshua?
It is also worth noting that reminiscent of Isaiah 11:8 above, also
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

In That Day, Part 2
See, the day of Yahweh is coming—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of Yahweh of Hosts, in the day of
His burning anger.
Isaiah 13:9, 13
