Wisdom in the WORD 
700+ years before Jesus arrived in human form, Isaiah wrote chapter 53 in past tense. Makes me think of Revelation 13:8. God has always had it all under control!
Philippians 2:1-11 has a great parallel with application for us.

One of my favorite, forbidden, passages. My favorite part is….the whole chapter. I like the fact that HE was not good-looking (like me), HE grew up thru adversity of all kinds, then bore the sins and diseases of us all. HE didn’t have to do that.
