They were previously married to the Law of Moses
Moses died and the Law of that former union was also declared obsolete as a result of the finished work of Christ
We are betrothed to the new husband JESUS the KING of kings
We look forward to the marriage supper of the Lamb

We have not yet been wedded with Him in that heavenly marriage
And yet
Speaking in this mystery
We are already seated with Him in heavenly places
