For the Perfect & Holy Ones

Adelphoi,

Brothers and sisters

We live in the shadow of eternity

___

This message has gone out to a couple people and is going out to some more shortly regarding real life, right here, right now.

Sitting at the precious feet of JESUS our one and only eternal lover of our souls

Looking at Matthew 19:9

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

So here if you have the case of a perfect and holy man whose wife is a prostitute. He can divorce her. But because he is a perfect and holy man, he knows that his marriage covenant is for life so he will not.

The man who is not perfect in holiness whose wife is not a prostitute but who is also wayward in her thoughts and affections, just like him, will not divorce his wife because he knows that they are both equally unfaithful to the life-long marriage covenant of God.

The wife who is not perfect but is surrendered to God and not unfaithful to her lifelong marriage covenant vows before God and in the presence of many witnesses will absolutely not divorce her husband because she knows they are both equally unfaithful to their lifelong marriage covenant before God in the presence of many witnesses.

A man or a woman who seeks a divorce is one who is unfaithful and without perfection before God and must not so much as dare to throw a grain of sand, let alone a stone, a rock or so much as a piece of paper.

  1. The “except for” clause is for those who are perfect and holy. Who else could it be for? Did John 8 really happen or is the “first stone” story made up by Jerome after all?

Was JESUS sent to Jews or non Jews?

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
    Matthew 15:24

And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. Leviticus 20:10

So the except for clause is to clear the perfect and holy man of the sin of making his wife an adulteress before she was stoned for that sin.

That perfect and holy man was then completely free not only from his lifelong marriage covenant to the wife of his youth but also from any guilt for her sin.

  2. I would strongly recommend every follower of JESUS who has been, is or ever intends to be married watch this 3 hour video and set aside at least 10 hours over a month perhaps to pray and read and study and discuss this matter deeply.

    What video, you ask?

    I’m glad you asked…

    Ask and you shall receive
