Guard your HEART with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

For out of the HEART come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.” Matthew 15:19-20
These passages show that the heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, conscience and body are all impacted by such sin. We can see evidence in this way of this idea of destructive ‘soul ties.’ We, however, are to pursue righteousness.
The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure HEART and a good CONSCIENCE and a sincere FAITH. 1 Timothy 1:5
Wisdom in the WORD 
Let us watch our life and doctrine closely.
Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. 1 Timothy 4:16
Keep this biblical caution in mind as we hear various teachings of men and read various articles such as this one posted here below.
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21
