Some Brief Reflections on the Natural Origin of the Qur’an

Any reading from the Qur’an immediately reveals that rather than being a stand alone scripture, it is actually merely a crude commentary.

The Sleepers of Ephesus in the Qur’an is in surat al-khaf chapter 18.

Any sample will do, but one suitable example is to read chapter 18 and chapter 21 al-anbiyah The Prophets.

It is so obvious that the Qur’an is simply and merely a very shoddy and crude commentary in 7th century Arabia of the true scriptures as well as various legends, stories and accounts from Greco-Roman, Jewish, pagan and Christian literature.

Honestly, it is embarrassing because it is such bad writing, thinking, summary.

It is in crass terms like a junior high level attempt at commentary.

It is not in the genre of scripture at all but is exactly what everyone knows simply as commentary.

That is the actual literary genre of the Qur’an. It is merely a shoddy commentary on scripture set in 7th century Arabia.

It is a crude, unscholarly set of poor quality homilies or attempted sermons.
