Spring 2021 Kickoff

A Brief Recap

A number of other brothers also wanted to join as well but were not able to this time

Others want to know how it was so I thought I would send at least this very brief recap if only to give a small taste. Some who joined may also want to share a bit more about this time and the powerful words and time of prayer and encouragement together. All are welcome to share more about this as we all encourage each other to STIR UP THE GIFTS!

For those who were not able to join us this time, know that we missed you!

It was a very good time together.
There were srong words of agreement, encouragement, challenge and bold intercession, powerful exhortation from and to all to continue engaging in the great commission and to strengthen what remains.

We closed with this powerful passage and DG gave us a powerful reminder

“Keep your eye on the eastern sky!”

Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Hebrews 10:32‭-‬39

Isaiah 49

He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.” Isaiah 49:3

Here is a question

Is Yahweh speaking to Isaiah here or to Israel? Is He speaking to me or to you? In 4 days will He be speaking to you or me, about Jacob or Jesus, Yeshua or Yeshurun?

Here is the answer

Yes.

There is so much to consider and fully understand in every WORD of God.

For now, we will not aim to spell out every detail or every major point. God is still speaking and He makes all these things abundantly & crystal clear to all those who have ears to hear. For now, we will simply touch on a few thoughts and lay down a small assortment of truths which come to mind for further ordering if desired.

The main point to note is that there is MUCH here, with many applications, and all God’s WORD is True & Powerful.

We are to rightly divide the WORD of Truth. This calls for wisdom. Wisdom is not proud. Wisdom is like Love in this. She is not proud. She is not rude. She is not self seeking. She is not easily angered.¹

Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. Psalms 2:12

There are many things which may seem like contradictions yet which are not at all. In this day and age of drivel, it is easy to find nitpickers & naysayers, weak & spineless hearts & minds.

But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Hebrews 10:39

We are not to think like the world at any stage of this epic drama, unfolding. We are to think clearly, to divide rightly, to be sober & vigilant, sound of heart & mind, not given to fear or manipulation, but given power, love & a sound mind.

We are to be bold like a lion, to persevere & to endure discipline like good soldiers.

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Isaiah 35:3‭-‬4

Here am I, and the children Yahweh has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from Yahweh Tsabaot, who dwells on Mount Zion. Isaiah 8:18

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:18‭-‬25

For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.” Yahweh says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.” Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from Yahweh, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?” You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “You did not make me”? Can the pot say to the potter, “You know nothing”? In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest? In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. Once more the humble will rejoice in Yahweh; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down— those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice. Therefore this is what Yahweh, who redeemed Abraham, says to the descendants of Jacob: “No longer will Jacob be ashamed; no longer will their faces grow pale. When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. Those who are wayward in spirit will gain understanding; those who complain will accept instruction.” Isaiah 29:11‭-‬24

“Listen to this, you descendants of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel and come from the line of Judah, you who take oaths in the name of Yahweh and invoke the God of Israel—but not in truth or righteousness—you who call yourselves citizens of the holy city and claim to rely on the God of Israel—Yahweh of Armies is His name.
Isaiah 48:2

Yahweh does not take delight in claimers.

Yeshua does not take kindly to mere talkers.

What are you claiming?

What are you doing?

Watch yourself.

Take note.

Our God is the God of action & power.

We would not be mistaken to apply this to ourselves.

Our Redeemer—the Yahweh of Armies is his name—is the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 47:4

Sin Is At The Root

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10

For A Brother

Sin is at the root. If you do not want the money, prove it and renounce the money for the true solution. Identify the true problem. Done? Now identify the true solution. Done yet?

Every day there is an opportunity to allow the Almighty to work through your words and your ways to impact lives like dynamite by the transforming power of His Holy Spirit.

This will never be possible unless you first allow the Dynamite Power of the Almighty Holy Spirit to dynamite blast the root of sin.

Sin is at the root.

Such a person feeds on ashes; a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, “Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?” Isaiah 44:20
