king of NOTHING

It’s 9°

Fahrenheit

ET quipped that the devil created winter

Ha!

Not funny

Jk

I have heard that cold is the absence of heat like dark is the absence of light.

All things were made through HIM and without HIM nothing was made that was made.

Hence cold and dark are not actually substance.

Faith is the substance.

Wait…

So the adversary actually finds himself ruler over absolutely ZERO substance

No wonder he’s furious

He eternally lost in the biggest way possible

Parable of the Dragonfly

Down below the surface of a quiet pond lived a little colony of water bugs. They were a happy colony, living far away from the sun. For many months they were very busy, scurrying over the soft mud on the bottom of the pond. They did notice that every once in a while one of their colony seemed to lose interest in going about with his friends.

Clinging to the stem of a pond lily, he gradually moved out of sight and was seen no more.

“Look!” said one of the water bugs to another. “One of our colony is climbing up the lily stalk. Where do you suppose he is going?”

Up, up, up he went slowly. Even as they watched him, the water bug disappeared from sight. His friends waited and waited but he didn’t return.

“That’s funny!” said one water bug to another.

“Wasn’t he happy here?” asked a second water bug.

“Where do you suppose he went?” wondered a third.

No one had a answer. They were greatly puzzled.

Finally one of the water bugs, a leader in the colony, gathered his friends together. “I have an idea. The next one of us who climbs up the lily stalk must promise to come back and tell us where he went and why.”

“We promise,” they said solemnly.

Isaiah 7

Then Yahweh said to Isaiah, “Go out, you and your son…to meet Ahaz…Say to him, ‘Be careful, keep calm and don’t be afraid. Do not lose heart because of these two smoldering stubs of firewood—because of the fierce anger of…[those who]…have plotted your ruin, saying,
“Let us invade Judah; let us tear it apart and divide it among ourselves…Yet this is what Lord Yahweh says:

“It will not take place, it will not happen…”

“Ask Yahweh your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.”

But Ahaz said, “I will not ask; I will not put Yahweh to the test.” Isaiah 7:3‭-‬7‭, ‬11‭-‬12

To be continued…

There Was

There was an immediacy, an urgency.
There was great growth and expansion
Yet there was clearly an imminence, the awareness of expediency, of the soon return
The imminent return
There was love and joy
And there was power because of the Holy Spirit
And there was willingness to surrender, to separate and to walk powerfully and purely alone if need be yet standing in powerful purity and holy boldness for the good news precisely because of that same Holy Spirit.
There was a great harvest and great revival
There was healing and anointing
There was itinerancy and energy
There was enthusiasm and expectation
There was a desire for justice and holiness
There was a boldness to walk according to the unchanging high and holy nature of the Almighty and His Messiah.
These are what there was.

Adonai & YHVH Sabaot

In the year that King Uzziah died

Selah.

Pause & reflect.

When man’s kingdoms fall. When man is no longer on the throne. When man is removed from the throne…then is revealed the ONE Who sits upon the eternal throne, both WHO HE is and that it is HE WHO sits upon the throne.

The Vision of Isaiah

HOLY HOLY HOLY
KADOSH KADOSH KADOSH

In the year that King [melech] Uzziah died, I saw the Lord [Adonai], high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy [kadosh kadosh kadosh] is the LORD Almighty [YHVH Sabaot]; the whole earth is full of his glory.” At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty [melech YHVH Sabaot].” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord [Adonai] saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” He said, “Go and tell this people: “ ‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” Then I said, “For how long, Lord [Adonai]?” And he answered: “Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, until the LORD [YHVH] has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken. And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.”

The Vine

Isaiah 5

I will sing for the one I love a song about his vineyard: My loved one had a vineyard on a fertile hillside. He dug it up and cleared it of stones and planted it with the choicest vines. He built a watchtower in it and cut out a winepress as well. Then he looked for a crop of good grapes, but it yielded only bad fruit. Isaiah 5:1‭-‬2

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:1‭-‬8

That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “ ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it. “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
Matthew 13:1‭-‬23

“Though I have been speaking figuratively [using paroimia], a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will [use parresia to] tell you plainly about my Father.” John 16:25
